I descend from Alfred Bass b Mar 25 1825 in Wilson Co. married Sarah B Binkley of Hermitage in 1847 in Wilson Co, and lived in MS as plantation foreman in 1850 and 1860 censuses, in 4th district (Hermitage) Davidson Co census in 1870, and then in Crittenden Co KY. This is not Alfred J Bass of similar age who remained in Wilson Co and is first listed in 1850 census. Basses identified in the Bible are Oren Bass b 2/25/1818; M H Bass b 7//25/1820, Milbery Bass b 9/17/1823?, Alfred Bass b 3/25/1825, Nancy Bass b 7/29/1827, G L? Bass b 12/28/1831, H T or J Bass b 7/21/1834, G G Bass b 4/27/1847- - - these are in same ink and all but the last would appear to be siblings. In a separate ink is Hiram Tomas Bass b 10/10/1874, - - in another ink: Guidla Thompson Bass b 3/27/1876. Under deaths are listed Lucy Bass d 3/11/1835, J J? Bass d 12?/14/1829, Henry G Bass d 4/20/1842, Ann Bass d 9/16/1827, Jane Anderson d 5/15//1858, Cader Bass d 10/28/1858, Mary Ann Anderson d 7/21/1848. I'm trying to identify this Bass family. I believe Cader who died 10/28/1858 married Martha Phillips and they lived near Leesburg. However there appears to be somewhat younger Cader who also died 10/28/1858 who lived near Watertown. Which of the Bass families were associated with Andersons? Thank you, Sharon Johnson Descendant of several Wilson County families: Conyers, Harrington, Howard, Bass

    1. [TNWILSON] TALLY / HAWKINS FAMILY
    2. Hello! Is anyone on this list working on the TALLY family? Specifically, I am looking for Henry TALLY who married Martha HAWKINS (she born 1830s?), probably in Wilson County, TN. They were living in Illinois by 1853 - probably Williamson County. I have lots of information that could be tied together, if I just get a little more data on Martha. Thanks. Debbie
