I am researching Archer (Arch, perhaps Archibald) Allen born in NC abt 1813. He married Elizabeth Jones in 1838. Their children were Francis, b. 1843, Elizabeth b. 1840, Minerva Jane b. 1845, Henry b. 1851, James W. b. 1839. I think they lived in Wilson Co. in the early 1800's then moved to DeKalb and Smith Counties before 1850. I believe Archer had a brother or cousin named Gilbert Allen married to Julia. Does anyone have any information on this family? Thanks, Claudia
