Thomas E. Partlow's WILSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE, CHANCERY COURT RECORDS 1842-1892, has the following entries: 1. A bill of complaint by Sarah Elizabeth and William L. Andrews, minors who are represented by their uncle Roland G. Andrews, Alfred E. Donnell, Ebenezer Andrews, and William M. Andrews against Purnell H. Andrews and Norman Walsh. Sarah Elizabeth and William L. Andrews are the only heirs of their mother, Susannah Andrews, formerly Susannah Spears. After the death of their mother, their grandfather, William Spears, gave them a sum of money. Their father, Pernal G. Andrews, was appointed guardian. Said parties are seeking an injunction against their father to prevent him from spending their money on a tract of land. 23 December 1843 (Chancery Court 1842-1845, Pp. 260-270) 2. P. W. Harris versus N. C. Simpson, a non resident. Said P. W. Harris is seeking an attachment of the distributive share which the said N. C. Simpson has in the estate of Daniel Kelly who died in August or September 1874. Said Simpson is a grandson of the intestate Kelly. The wards of C. W. Simpson, to wit, Lucy J. and John Simpson are the children of N. C. Simpson and grandchildren of said Kelly. N. C. Simpson left the State in 1866 or 67 and is believed to be in Illinois. One or two years after leaving the State, his wife or widow returned and stayed in the home of her husband's father for several months and then moved to Texas to live with relations. She intermarried in Texas with one John Penuel. It is believed that N. C.Simpson died in Illinois in 1868 or 1869. 12 April 1876 (Chancery Book 1875-1876, Pp. 258-260) 3. Joseph M. Anderson versus D. C. Kelly. James F. Stokes is guardian of Davidella S., John, and Nancy E. Kelly, minor heirs of M. A. Kelly who departed this life intestate in May 1867. Said M. A. Kelly was the wife of D. C. Kelly. 28 March 1876 (Chancery Book 1875-1876, Pp. 214-217) These are not my people. Just did a lookup for you.
