Hi Denise I noticed in a reply to Robert Miles that you mentioned that you have a lot of Smith's from Wilson Co.Tn. My gggrandfather John Moore Smith was married to a Mary Elizabeth Conyer from Wilson CO.Tn. I have been trying to find the birth location of John M. Smith.According to another family member researcher I was told his father was from Scotland.The story goes that he was on his way back to Scotland with his children and died on the way over.The children were returned to their mother. If any of this sounds familiar or you have any record of this John Smith please e-mail me,I have a lot of information on John's children.
