Luckily, for me, Buddy Ingram was there when I was asking for a map of the roads so I could try, somehow, to locate the Snider cemetery. He overheard me talking to the office worker and jumped right in and was glad to take me there. If it wasn't for him I would have never found it, that is for sure. It was about half a mile off of a gravel road. I understand why they built the park and did what they thought was right, but it is a real dishonor to the families of the people who are buried there. If they were't going to move the graves, couldn't they at least make them accessible???? Mr.Ingram said I could come and care for them , but it would be up to me to do all the work (more FEDERAL red tape) .........he is willing to help in any way he can and is full of knowlege of the area. He and my grandmother, as I found out, were friends (and distantly related!!) and swapped photo! s and genealogical information. After she passed away a few years ago I "inherited" her work. Please email me if you wish. I would be happy to help you in any way possible. (and I live about 20 minutes from the park) P.S. - Buddy is a descendant of the Knights, too, I believe.
