Simeon Lewis, Exor of James Johnson. Orator owner of 200 acres granted by the state of TN to him...." #5302-April 6 1868 Adam G.Muirhead against Frank H. Palmer...Muirhead on 9 Dec 1865 sold Palmer a tract of 47 acres in Wilson County,TN... The parcel of land belonged to the estate of John Muirhead, dec'd and was brought by complaintif at a sale decree of this court in the case of FLETCHER gdn. of Maggie Muirhead against Muirhead & LESTER..." I wish to obtain copies of these documents. Can anyone instruct me if indeed the original documentation can be copied and to whom I should write to obtain those copies. I am researching JOSEPH FLETCHER, grandson of Thomas C. Fletcher who married in 1839 Halifax County,Virginia Mary Talbot. This Joseph Fletcher who was son of JOHN FLETCHER is named in the Halifax will of Thomas C. Fletcher. Another son of Thomas C. Fletcher, THOMAS HAMILTON FLETCHER appears in the Wilson County TN records... eventually moving to Nashville where he is buried. Thank you for any help, Nadine Christall
