Ellis Families I have been unable to find any information regarding the Ellis families in Wilson county 1800 to 1840. Has anybody seen any information regarding these families. I believe they are my line, but can't find any proof other than census and it (of course) doesn't list the children. My 4g grandfather is Robert Ellis and his wife is Mary (?). By 1820, they had at least one daughter, perhaps two (Nancy and Lucinda). Another Ellis, Simeon, may or may not be their child but moved with them to Missouri. He was born about 1823. The Young families traveled with them to Missouri also, and had some children in Wilson county. My 4g grandfather John B Young married Nancy R Vowell in Wilson.
