    1. [TNWILSON] List Admin Post - Please Read
    2. Hi everyone I have been away from the computer and only in and out a little for a while now, so I apologize that it has taken me so long to get in here to the TNWilson list. I have been looking over all of our email from this past month and am amazed. We're really busy here at TNWilson! Just a couple of things, however: 1. Please don't call a roll call without writing me privately and asking first. Right now is actually not the best time to have a roll call going on. Some people, like myself, have been away from their computer more than usual for Christmas and their email builds up. Their normal amount of email wouldn't cause bouncing, but excessive posts from one or two lists may. (I know for a fact this has happened to 4 people...two from this list) 2. Roll Calls aren't helpful when the subject lines all say *roll call*. We don't really need to know it's a roll call message...if I have called for a roll call, then all the messages during that time period will be roll call. A lot of people skim through their hundreds of emails looking for important subject lines...and there are may deleted *Roll Call* messages. 3. Please keep the chatting off the list. I normally wouldn't mind very much...but this list has already accidentally booted two people due to excessive posts (and quite a few have unsubbed in the past two weeks, probably some for the same reason). Thanks everyone!! Have a great day and happy hunting! 3. Stan, Not related, just did a lookup for you. 1. From the book, "Index to Wilson Co. TN WILLS and Administrations, 1802-1861", by Byron Sistler Jacob Jennings had records in Probate in 1835 You can order a copy of this record from the Wilson Co. Archives in Lebanon, which may prove Nancy's father. The following ALEXANDER Probate records are indexed in this book: NAME PROBATE YEAR Andrew M. 1815 Robert 1821 Ezekiel 1835 George 1837 Polly 1845 George 1847 Copies of one of these records may identify Thomas' father. 2. From the book, "Marriages of Wilson Co. TN, 1802-1850", by Edythe Rucker Whitley Thomas and Nancy married January 18, 1825, with the Bond issued January 10, 1825, and with WILLIAM S. ALEXANDER as the bondsman. They were married by Justice of the Peace James Foster. You can also order a copy of this record from the Wilson Co.
