Hi Rodger, Thank you so much for the help. My line is actually Squire, Thomas Jefferson, etc. I think my Squire is a brother to John, etc. in Wilson. Wasn't John the first white male to marry or be born in Wilson after it was made a county? I may have that wrong. My brick wall is really Rutherford County's Williams Barfield. Wasn't Peter Sullivan in early Rutherford county? Try the TNGenWeb RC site....www.tngenweb.org/rutherford/link.htm There is a Patrick Sullivan on the 1803 Tax List. I haven't had time to check the others. Dunno if Patrick is related to Peter but it's worth a shot.
