    1. [TNWILSON] Bennett/Bass Cemetery
    2. MacFarland
    3. Does anyone have any knowledge of this small cemetery? A BENNETT girl buried there is the granddaughter of my great great great grandfather, William F. Bennett. I can find records of only two recorded graves at this place on the cemetery web sites for the county. Would there, somewhere, be records of other burials? In particular, that of William F. Bennett d. bef March 1829 and his wife, Eleanor d. 1854. Jan

    2. Fellow Wilson County researchers As soon as I posted my post stating I had received the similar mail with possibly a VIRUS in it, I again received a personal e-mail with no message, and an attached document that looked similarly suspicious. In the subject, it said WILSON COUNTY. Our board is being watched and I suggest we don't download anything from strangers, just keep posting on the board. Below is what I received. 3. Thomas E. Partlow's WILSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE, CHANCERY COURT RECORDS 1842-1892, has the following entry for Thomas Watkins: Bill of complaint of John Simms, administrator of Thomas Watkins, against V. L. Watkins. Thomas Watkins died intestate in 1872. 21 March 1876 (Chancery Book 1875-1876, Pp. 200-201) There are some other entries for V. L. Watkins, but he is shown only by those initials. He was married to Sarah Loyd, and there is an entry about the Loyd family. 1. [TNWILSON] Virus Infected Emails
    2. Gale, You brought something to my attention that I had forgotten and I think its entirely possible that you are correct with most of the viruses people get. However, I have NOT received a response to my email noting the virus infected file and have received ANOTHER email with a virus corrupted file from the same screen name. Therefore I think my suspicions have been confirmed.   Therefore I suggest that anyone receiving a message from Cunningham1234 should be very leery of opening a file without checking for a virus first. 2. I also received an email message containing a file with a virus from someone who said they had read a message on the Wilson Co. list. I wrote the person back saying that the file was contaminated and to please just copy what he/she wanted me to receive within an email, but heard nothing further. Additionally I just received an email from Cunningham1234 on the Benton Co., Arkansas mail list containing a file with a virus. Again I wrote back saying that I couldn't read the file because it contained a virus and heard nothing further from that person. Perhaps it is paranoia but it seems to me that if I sent a corrupted file to someone and they notified me as such that I would again write them, send the material in a different format. The fact that this didn't happen makes me suspicious that someone is trying to pull a prank. Susan

    3. Welcome to the Wilson Co. Gang, Margo-- Thomas E. Partlow's WILSON COUNTY, TENNESSEE, CHANCERY COURT RECORDS 1842-1892, has the following entries for Adams which all seem to involve Green B. Adams. Hope they may be helpful to you. 1. Bill of complaint of William W. Adams against America Susan Jane Adams, Sarah R. Adams, Nancy Tennessee Adams, and W. W. Adams, Sr., as the guardian of the heirs of Mathew Adams. John Adams, father of w. W. Adams died intestate in 185--, leaving a widow, nancy Adams, William W. Adams, Mathew Adams, and John Q. Adams as his heirs. John Q. Adams died not long after the death of his father intestate and without issue, never having been married. Mathew Adams, the other son, died intestate not long after the death of his father, leaving America Susan Jane, Sarah Rausas, and Nancy Tennessee Adams as his only heirs. Mentions Green B. Adams. 2 January 1871 (Chancery Book H, Pp. 479-487) 2. Bill of complaint of Nancy C. Adams against Green B. Adams. Said parties were married about eight or nine years ago. The Defendant has two daughters by a previous marriage, to wit, Polly Ann and Bedora. Said Nancy C. Adams has three children, two of whom are living, one named Adam F., 7 years, and Samuel R., 1-1/2 years. Because of ill treatment, she has been forced to live with her son Samuel G. Patton. She is seeking a divorce. 25 March 1871 (Chancery Book J, Pp. 56-60) 3. Bill of complaint of Green B. Adams against William Dwyer, Sarah E. Dwyer, Plummer Dwyer, and the other unknown children of Sarah E. Dwyer of Mississippi. 10 September 1870 (Chancery Book J, Pp. 382-391) These Chancery Court books are currently being filmed (or are possibly finished) at the Archives in Nashville, Tennessee.
