    2. I'm afraid I can't help but when I saw your mention of John C. Cummins in Wilson Co. after 1810 and receiving information from his descendants I was hoping you could put me in touch with one of them. I think this John C. Cummins might be the older brother of my gggrandfather, Samuel Durham Cummings. I know family still lives in the Lebanon, TN area but I haven't seen any postings. Thanks, Kirsten Cummings

    1. [TNWILSON] Re: Vivretts of Wilson County
    2. Thanks for your reply. I would love to see what you have. I have Larry Vivrett married twice. First to Harriet Cole in 1835, one child William Micajah; second to Emily Gregory on Dec. 2, 1837. Harriet must have died in childbirth. No more info on the child. With Emily, I have 8 children listed: James Monroe, Thomas G., Mary Ann, Henrietta, Tennessee, Sarah, Fanny, and Mattey. I have the lines for James Monroe and Mary Ann, but not the rest. My information came from several sources, which I would be happy to share with you.

    2. I was so excited seeing your message. I may have some useful information for you, that I just found this evening on another web site when I was searching for Vivrettes in Wilson Co. TN. My first cousins and I have just started working on our family geneology, so this information was a real breakthrough for us. Perhaps Lancelot or Micajah is the father of Larry???? Larry Vivrette (1815 - ?) married Emiline Frances Gregory (1816 - ?) They had the following children: Henrietta (believe my great great grandmother) - 1849 Tennessee - 1850 - I bet this is the year the famly moved to TN Louisa - 1854 Fannie - 1857 Mattey - 1861 Please let me know what you think and what other informaiton you have. Thanks

    1. [TNWILSON] Re: grandfather Lane
    2. I have located my Henry H. in Brown Co., Texas on the 1900 Brown Co. census. At the time he was married to "Lizzie". They had three daughters, Grace, Lettie and Lucy and two sons, Edward Frank and Willie Hester. Two more children were born later. A son, Cecil and a daughter, Sallie. Lizzie died some time after 1903. Sallie was born in 1903. Henry married my grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth O'Neal in 1906. They had two sons, Wylie Forest and my father, William Ebbie. Henry died Dec. 1, 1909 and is buried in Cottonwood, Callahan Co., Texas. The 1900 census shows Henry was born in Arkansas, Feb. 12, 1870. Is it possible that your Henry and mine are related? Peggy
