Jan I certainly do. I can move back on that line ok..... It is Henry BENNETT and Nancy ALEXANDER,,,,,,,,, I beleive at sometime they could have lived in Wilson County, but beleive they lived in Dekalb county... Henry was born 1832 in Smith (Dekalb) County This BENNETT family traveled with other families from London, England to coast of VA to TN and other places... One of the families they taveled with was HICKS. I beleive they meet up with the Hicks in Virgina. Can you tell me who you are looking for? > Do you know the parents of Mary Elizebeth Bennett? I have Bennetts in > Wilson Co. > Jan >

The message from most lists take note to "unsubscribe" one must be certain to have "request" in the address and nothing at all in the subject line. So---to: <TNWILSON-L-request@rootsweb.com> --nothing in the subject line, and-- "unsubscribe" in the body of the letter. no name, nothing else. Should work. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Getupgirl2002@aol.com> To: <TNWILSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, June 03, 2002 11:23 AM Subject: [TNWILSON] Re: unsubscribe > for the umtenth time, please take me off this list. > > > ==== TNWILSON Mailing List ==== > TNWILSON Website > http://www.rootsweb.com/~tnwilson/ > TNWILSON > >

Leland, *I* wasn't trying to unsubscribe from the list. I was merely advising the original poster HOW to accomplish it, and another person advised her as well. Sharon

It is my belief that Sharon Harrington is trying to say that she has not been able to unsubscribe using her current E-mail address. To unsubscribe from a mailing list, it must be done with the original E-mail address. I do not believe that she has notified the webmaster to remove her from the list using her original E-mail mailing address. She can unsubscribe from the mailing list using her current E-mail address hundred time and it will not take her off from the old E-mail address list. Sharon, you must notify the webmaster the E-mail address that you used to originate the subscription to the mailing list, and then the webmaster can remove you from the mailing list.....................................
for the umtenth time, please take me off this list.
Getupgirl2002@aol.com wrote: > > for the umtenth time, please take me off this list. Try sending your request to TNWILSON-L-request@rootsweb.com with unsubscribe in the subject line. You can't unsubscribe directly from the maillist, you have to unsub from the address where you subscribed
To unsubscribe from this mailing list you have to go to this address and unsubscribe. Just put unsubscribe in the subject line. TNWILSON-L-request@rootsweb.com Just sending to the list doesn't do it.
