I believe that Frances Ogilvie and John Rains, Jr. went to Texas fairly early on -- like 1830's with a group of local people that included some of my kinsmen from the Frost family. The Frost settled in Fort Bend County and were a founding family of Houston, TX. I will check that out to see what I can find. I know I have a reference to it somewhere.
