Hi All, Researching the name HOUSDEN/CROCKER who lived in Williamson County from about the 18teens to the 1840's. Benjamin HOUSDEN migrated from VA in the 18teens. He married Elizabeth TURNER. His son James Riley HOUSDEN married Elizabeth CROCKER on June 12, 1837 Williamson County. Elizabeth was the second of ten children born to Bailey CROCKER and Sarah TAIT(e). Bailey was from N.C.. His daughters married in Williamson and stayed:1. Polly HOUSDEN married Samuel CHAMBERLIN 1841. 2. Sarah HOUSDEN married James GUY 1841 3. Rebecca Jane HOUSDEN married William BROWN.
