One of the William Hamptons in the 1830 Census of Williamson County was from Brunswick County, VA, the son of Henry Hampton, married to Martha (Patsy) Potts. His children were Willis, James T., and Andrew S. He was a brother to my ancestor David Hampton, also of Brunswick County, VA. They had another brother Jeremiah who also came to Williamson County, as well as a sister Elizabeth who married Bishop Oldham.
