Hello, everyone. I'm searching for information on the family of Garner DOWDY and his wife Eliza GRAHAM DOWDY. Garner's father was John DOWDY who died in 1845, leaving a will. They lived in the southern part of the county bordering on Marshall County. In 1850 there was a James GRAHAM age 80 living with Garner and Eliza in Marshall County (before this time Garner and Eliza lived in Williamson and were married there in 1839. I'm thinking maybe this was James' land and that he may have been Eliza's father. I know nothing of these GRAHAMS other than that. Can anyone help?? Wayne Hill
