Hi Jennie, Tax Record -- I can give you a general view of poll taxes, but if someone on the list can be more specfic about this we both might learn something new. Anyway, taxes can be accessed on "real property" or "personal property tax" or a combination of the two. It sounds like the sons were taxed on "personal property" they owned. The sons would not have been included in the "real property" tax with their father if they owned land themselves......I don't think. Anyone else have any suggestions on this? Will Record -- If you have the will book number and page number write to the Williamson County Archives giving the specifics for what you are wanting and they will search and copy the record for you. There is a charge. If you need the the Archives address, etc., let me know and I'll email to you. You might want to call first just to make sure they have the information on microfilm you are wanting. If they do not have it the next best place would be the State Archives in Nashville. Information about their searches should be on their website. Hope this helps! Darlene Anderson
