Hi! I am researching the line of Johnson WOOD b. ca 1762, Lunenburg Co., VA, m. Frances THOMPSON, then died 1845 in Williamson Co. His son was Thompson Wood b. 1784 in Lunenburg Co.(siblings: Stephen(m. WRAY, KIMMINS), Jean(m. FOULKS), Elizabeth(m. DAVIS), Mary(m. SANFORD), Sarah(m. WOOD), Frances(m. SANFORD) and Johnson Jr.(m. JORDAN)).Thompson Wood married Elizabeth B. CARTER 9/10/1817 in Williamson Co and died 6/17/1850, Williamson Co. I am especially interested in Frances Thompson and Elizabeth Carter right now. I am also researching Philip Hugh WARREN who married Sarah Wood (dtr. of Thompson Wood, above) 10/28/1842 in Williamson Co. He may be the son of Nathaniel Warren who was living next door to Johnson Wood in the 1840 Census. They all lived in the Triune area and were early members of Wilson Creek Church. The Warrens are located in Dyer Co., TN in the 1860 census. They died in Gibson Co., TN. I would love to correspond with anyone interested in any of these lines. Thanks.
