My roots in Tennessee are Hunter and Cloud. Joseph & James Hunter and Priscilla Cloud are the names I know. They all lived in Williamson between about 1840 and 1860. I have also found them in White (before that time) and Shelby (after that time) counties. However, the biggest problem I have is figuring out Joseph's birth year. According to the 1850 census index he was 68 years old, then in the 1860 census index he was 45 years old. When I look at a census I figure the age to be off by about 3 years. But, I never thought I would see differences like that. He gets younger and his wife ages at the double the normal rate (she went from 24 to 40). Wouldn't we love to have a gene that makes you get younger. If anyone out there has access to the actual census and can find what it says I would greatly appreciate it and send really good vibes your way. Thanks. Nan
