Could someone help me resolve this problem? I've found different sources that name either Thomas H. Wells or Hartwell R. Wells as the husband of Susan (Unknown) Wells and the father of Thomas H., Garret P., James H., John C., Henderson, Melico A., Lawrence, and Martha Wells. The census records have not helped. I've found Thomas in the 1840 Williamson census and Hartwell R. in the 1850 & 1860 Williamson censuses. He/They supposedly die in 1866 with burial in the Wells Cemetery. Susan is in the household of Monroe J. Clay in the 1870 census. If someone could confirm the cemetery record and/or is aware of a will that might resolve the matter, I would really appreciate it!!
