    1. [TNWILLIA] 1836 Williamson County Map
    2. Noel C. Matthews
    3. I have just finished uploading the 1836 Williamson County map that shows the various districts. This is an outline map only. You will need to use a different map to really get accurate locations but at least this will give you some idea where the districts are located. These are the origional descriptions and some of them have changed over the years. Also, a few on the east part of the county were transferred to Rutherford County when it was formed. Some of the copy was hard to read and these will be addes, corrected and updated as I figure out what should go there. The map has not been linked from the main page just yet. Here is the location: http://www.tngenweb.org/williamson/history/WmCoDst1836Map.html Many thanks to Colleen Campbell Taylor for the map and descriptions. I am also working on the 1878 District owners map that shows locations of land owners for each district. This will be put up district by district as I can get it done. The first ones should go up this weekend. I want to thank Gloria for allowing me to get my foot back in the door and help her out on the Williamson County web site. I was starting to have Genealogical Withdrawal and she was kind enough to accept my help. Glad to be back among all you nice folks. Cheers, Noel

    3. Can anyone recommend a good monument company in Williamson County? My dad is wanting to purchase a monument for the graves of his great-grandparents. They are buried on a small hill near Fairview. The small cemetery is not easily accessible. Thanks! Feel free to contact me off the list. -Stephanie Bragg Struby
