John Hay was born at Wythe Court House State of Virginia on the 5th day of November 1805, was 23 years and 27 days of age when married. Frances Allen Johnson was born in 29th of August 1807. Was 21 years 3 months and 5 days of age when married. Frances A. Hay departed this life on Wednesday the 2nd of December 1846. Aged 39 years 3 months and 3 days being married 18 years exactly to the day she died. John Hay and Mary O. Green were married on April 30, 1848 Births..... Annie Simmons Johnson was born February 18, 1806, and died November 20, 1901, daughter of William and Sarah Nolen who moved to this state from Virginia in 1797 and settled where Nolensville now stands. The county was a dense cane brake inhabited by Indians. The children of the brave pioneers and courageous wife, at that time were seven, when allowed to go out to play, had a bell attached to the neck of the eldest to guard against Indians and being lost in the cane break. Nine more children were born, sixteen in all. Annie Nolen, one of the youngest, married Littleberry Johnson on September 18, 1824 and to whom were born four girls all except one living, Mrs. B. D. Johnson, Mrs. Corrine Owen wife of Addison Owen, and Miss Fannie and Sue. Her husband was a twin and he and brother married sisters. These additional notes were given to Mrs. Pratt by Mrs. Kate Shockley. Additional Notes..... William Nolen died 1850, age 90, born 1760 in Virginia. Sally Nolen, wife of William was Sally Cantrell. General Lee who was born in 1785 in Virginia and married Polly Turney. Allen Johnson born August 16, 1765 in Virginia Allen Johnson died August 13, 1835 in Williamson Co.,TN Allen Johnson married Mary "Polly" Hutcherson who was born October 18, 1768. Mary was born in either Caroline County or Mecklengurg Co., VA. Mary died July 9, 1827 in Williamson County, TN. Mary was the daughter of John Hutcheson and Elizabeth Chiles. Both Allen and Mary are buried in the family cemetery located on the farm which Allen bought in 1816 in Williamson County. This land was on Mill Creek between Franklin and Nolensville. Elizabeth Chiles Johnson was born January 22, 1795 in Mecklenburg Co.,VA, and died August 9, 1870 in Dekalb County, Tennessee. Elizabeth Chiles Johnson married Thomas Durham, Jr. on April 30, 1816 in Rutherford jCounty, Tennessee. (She was his second wife) Thomas Durham, Jr. was the son of Rev. Thomas Durham and Rebecca Allen.
