Arrington Creek crosses Hwy. 96 between Franklin and Triune near the town of Arrington but I do not know about the Commissioners Creek. I would assume the public road that was mentioned would be the present day Hwy. 96 since it goes directly from Franklin to Murfreesboro; however, that is just an assumption. May be someone else know if the present day Hwy. 96 was created that early.
