HI Listers, I have had this message on before but post it about yearly in case new folks have joined and not seen it. Somewhere in Williamson County is the information I need about my Grandfather, Sid Able(s). He was born in 1876 in Franklin. I have found his name in several tax rolls and he and a Betye Potts took out a marriage license in 1899, but were apparently not married. He is my brick wall. I have spent 4 days in the Williamson County Archives and that is all I found. He had some relatives in the Boston area, I believe as some Ables lived there in the last hafl of the 1800's. He came to East TN and lived and died here in 1924. We do not know who his family was or why he left Franklin.
