Hi Donna: I have a Brown ancestor who married a Locke. Jesse D. Brown married Sarah Lock - When Sarah Locke died (they had several children) Jesse D. Brown married Mary Ann Bryant who was quite a bit younger than him. They had Rhoda L. Brown who married Asa Hodge Wilkes. They also had a son William Brown who married Asa's sister, Alice Wilkes. Would you have any information on the above Brown or Wilkes family. The Browns come from Boston, Williamson County, TN where Asa died and left Rhoda with about 10 children. Have hunted for Jesse D. Brown for a long time. I do believe Jesse D. and Mary Ann Bryant are on the 1850 census. Thanks, Gale
