I will send another post after this one with the entire Taylor listings from the 1850 & 1860 Williamson County, TN Census. This first is from the book: "Goodspeed Histories", Williamson Co.,TN, p.1013 Rev. Stephen Allen Taylor born: GA 15 Feb.1829 (father) William Taylor born: NC, died: ca.1834, buried in GA (mother) Malinda Nunn born: NC, died:1853 (12 children, 11 grew to adulthood) (wife) married in 1854 to Rachel D. Miller, born: TN (5 children) John M., William A., Christina B., Carrie Bell, Elbridge G. (brothers & sisters) George, Hiram, Sally, Mary, John, Nancy, Solomon, Martha, James, Margaret, and one that died in childhood. This next bunch are obits taken from the newspaper "Western Weekly Review" or (WWR) Child of William D. Taylor, died 19 July 1835 of cholera (WWR) Eliza (Mrs. Robert, Jr.) Taylor, died 31 July 1839, age about 52 years (WWR) Mrs. Sarah Davis, died 7 Feb. 1845, daughter of Calvin Taylor (WWR 2-21-1845) Capt. William D. Taylor, died Monday evening last, 19 Jan. 1852 (WWR 1-23-1852) Mary (Mrs. Jonathan, Esq.) Taylor, died Thursday 4 May 1876 at her residence 12 miles NW of Franklin, after short illness of a few days. She was the sister of the Hon. R. A. Hill of Oxford, Miss., and a member of the Cumberland Presby. Church. (The Review & Journal 5-11-1876) Mrs Salinda Brandon, died 14 Nov. 1838 at the residence of Joseph Taylor near Versailles, Williamson County, Tenn. She was of Rutherford County Tenn. (WWR) Mrs. Mary Wilson, died Monday 6 Sept. 1847 at the residence of her brother William D. Taylor. (WWR 9-10-1847)
