In downtown Franklin, there is, in the same building as the Post Office, a Genealogy area with tons of genealogical types of data...books containing deeds, court actions, marriages, deaths, wills, etc. You might have a look there, particularly in the deed area. The lady that works in that room is pretty familiar with the county and she could probably direct you to places mentioned in the deeds. There is a huge map on the wall of the county also...with all the cemeteries identified. Not sure if it will help or not, but it's worth a stop....you go into the post office building and then stay to the right...go around the window and down the hallway and you will find a door at the end. The hours are posted on the door....I think they open about 8 or 8:30 in the morning. Bob Smith/Huntsville AL
