    1. [TNWILLIA] re ancestral home
    2. First off, thanks so much for the many prompt responses and offerings to help. I'm looking for homes for: Andrew Ewing b. 3/15/1740 Penn. d. 4/3/1813 Nashville or Franklin William Ewing (Andrew's son) b. 11/29/1771 d. 11/24/1845 Andrew Ewing (Andrew's son) b. 7/1/1768 d. 5/1/1830 Franklin Andrew B Ewing son of William Ewing (1771) b. 7/27/1796 Granny White Pike, Barton's Station d. 5/15/1880 Franklin William Ewing son of Andrew B Ewing (1796) b. 5/3/1823 d. 4/27/1863 don't know where he lived but he was a representative of Williamson County Lida Hooker Withers wife of above William Ewing daughter of John W. Withers , Lida b. 5/22/1835 d. 11/21/1865 both in Franklin William Milton Ewing son of William and Lida b. 12/9/1862 in Franklin d. 1923 Margaret Dunn Mills wife of William Milton Ewing daughter of Dero F Mills and Elizabeth Shute, I believe she was born in Franklin Margaret McGavock Ewing daughter of William Milton and Margaret Mills , my grandmother, b. 3/18/1892 (?) d. 1/30/1978 Atlanta GA This is an awful lot of people I know and there were more brothers and sisters in the Franklin area, even if I could just visit the property of one of them that would mean a lot to me. Doesn't matter if the house is still there, just want to stand on ancestral soil. I'm going to be in Franklin for about four days and I know there are a lot of beautiful places to see, I hate to think I was actually looking at family property and didn't know it. I had brochures mailed to me, but, the only Ewing connections I found in visitors guide were the Simms House, Marshall House, Carnton Plantation, Carter House, Midway and Ridley House......these are all related through Ewing women marrying proprietor. I was hoping to find a Ewing home or land or something. I've got a lot of Ewing data if any one needs help with family married to Ewings. Unfortunately I only have excerpts from Ewing books that relate to my line, but still, I have a lot. Also, I lave two old family albums with pictures dating back to the Civil War with only a few identified, I'm hoping to find a way to figure out who these folks are when I'm there. I'd put them out on the internet, but I'm not computer savvy enough to do so. I'm in the Atlanta area if any one is near here and would like to see these pictures. Or I'll be up in Franklin starting about July 17th through July 21st. Thanks Billie Ewing Ronk
