    2. Sandy and Paul, I show in Davidson Co., TN, Deed Book C, page 452, Isaac Wilcock, on 14 July 1795 and recorded on 6 Nov. 1796 sold to James Maxel for 100 pounds, 160a, part of a 320a tract grated to said Wilcock by NC. This 160a tract began on the NE corner of David Cowen's land and then joins again on the NW corner of David Cowen. I have no clue where this land would now be located. The Winsteads, John, Samuel and William owned land near Nolensville, TN, Williamson Co. The best I can determine is that they owned land near the junction of Sunset, Waller and Ragdale Rd's. and part of the land now known as The Governor's Club on Concord Rd. John Winstead bought property that once was owned by my ggg grand dad, Thomas Adams (land I believed now being developed as The Estates of Brookfield on Concord Pass) and Samuel bought joining land that was once owned by George W. Waters, the son-in-law of Thomas Adams. Please see my web site at the address below. Ed ----------------------------- See home page at: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~adams1895
