    3. CHarl, The Koen family was from (todays) Brentwood in Williamson County. One of the homes (before 1800) being off Concord past Wilson Pike, going towards Nolensville Road. I have found a couple of Keowns on an early Williamson Co., Ffanklin census. I don't know if this is the same family or not. Koen probably evolved to Cowan or vice versa. John Jackson and his wife Lovey Koen Jackson lived in Davidson County after their Marriage. I have a copy of John Jacksons will, he died about 1816 and mentioned his children one being Sarah. A Sarah Jackson Married Jacob Felker in Davidson County app. 1818. Revealed on the 1820 Davidson Co. census are a widowed Lovey Jackson & family and a Jacob Fulcher (Felker) a few pages later. Thank You for your suggestions. Sandra

    3. I have a John Patten Jackson (m Hassell), son Sam Jackson; also a David Jackson, m. Jamina Hardison, and another Jackson who married Mara A. McPherson.. All in the early 1800's in Williamson Cty area.. any hits with any of these? I also have a lot of Cowan's in my tree, so probably some connection.
