Paul, All I have on Samuel Caldwell Marlin is the son of Taylor J. Marlin & Margaret Locke. Samuel was born July 14, 1870 and died on December 5, 1939. He married Lula Virginia Taylor (sister to my Great Grandfather William T.H. Taylor). She was born May 28, 1871 and died February 28, 1941. Samuel & Lula had the following children Su Emira (1891), Walter E. (1892), Mortler (1894), Lettie (1897 named after Lula's grandmother Lettitia Givens Taylor), Berrie (1899). I decent from James Matterson Taylor, by his son William T. H. Taylor, and his daughter Frances Estelle Taylor (my Grandmother). Sorry I couldn't help you any more. - Judy Hutson
