Chuck-- Tennesee Tidbits 1778-1914, Vol.1, is a book at the library compiled by Marjorie Hood Fischer. I've had the pages on the WHITE surname (sent to me by another researcher) in my file for some time and only recently, while trying to organize all my Crockett info, looked at it again and understood it better. There are several entries on various WHITEs there so if anyone on the list is interested and doesn't have a copy, I'll check to see if I can connect to their family for them.
