    3. I've spent the last several weeks, entering data on my Burdett/e line that lived in Williamson and Davidson County, Tennessee. I'm hoping now, to find any descendants that would like to exchange info or photos. This Burdett/e line began in Williamson Co., in 1865-1929, with John Burdett. John was his nickname, his given name was Samuel Monroe Burdett, and he was born in Fox Creek, Randolph Co., Alabama 10 March 1843. He settled in Leiper's Fork near Franklin, after the Civil War. He had two wifes, Sarah A. "Sallie" Hargrove and Sarah Howell Stewart. Between the two, he had twelve children. "John", his wifes and several of his children, and descendants are buried in the Leipers Fork/Hillsboro Cemetery. I do know also, that some of his children moved to Nashville, and I'm wondering if there remain any descendants there. He was a Confederate veteran, and served with his two brothers Benjamin and Littleton, in the 13th AL Infantry, Co. E. I have his Muster Rolls, Pension Application, as well as those for his brothers. I also have numerous other documents and information on him I can share. His children by Sarah Hargrove were; John W.; Lavenia J. (m. Tom Furlough); Benjamin B. (m. Anna Waller); James Henry (m. Essie Nicholson); Robert Edward (m. Clemmie Wilson); Ellis L.; Manerva Elizabeth "Lizzie" (m. Charles Ferrell); Snowada; Rosa H. "Rosie" (m. Matthew M. Meachum & Edward Andrews) and Wiley George (m. Dora 'Unknown') His two children from Sarah Howell Stewart (he married her as a widow) were; Price W. and Nola M. Burdett. If any of you are descendants, or might know anyone from any of these surnames, I would appreciate a reply. The more I unravel this family, the more I'm discovering some amazing events. This fall I plan to visit the cemetery to pay my respects to this interesting family. Thanks for your time, Gayle Hennington-Van Horn UDC Macon Co., NC UDC Great Grand Daughters Assoc.
