Hello there, my name is Chuck McDowell...my 4 GrGrandFather was Joseph C. McDowell, who was married to the Daughter of Dr. John White in Williamson Co.,Tn. Her name was Olivia (Ollie) White McDowell/Sawyer,she married William Sawyer in 1824 or 25 I think after a divorce with Joseph C. . I would be intrested to find out all that I can on the White family as we are related if you are kin to John White of williamson Co.,Tn. We are currently invol- ved in heavy research on Joseph C.'s Parents,who we know nothing about,but have picked up a little on the White family,but would love to know more.....want to share info?
