Hi everyone; Just wanted to throw my two cents in, about the Wiliiamson Co. library. After I had hit a brick wall, I called the Williamson Co Public Library, wondering what records they might have. I spoke to a Mrs Doris Douglass in the Special Collection Dept. (ph: 615-595-1246) who was just wonderful. In about a week, I received a packet of copies of obits, marriage/death records, cemetery roster, census, even a death certificate. I'm still entering the info in my database! When I get down there, I plan to personally visit Mrs Douglass and hug her neck. What a very special lady, who went the extra mile for me...and helped to break my brick wall! Good luck to all and don't give up! Our ancestors want their stories told.
