I was on the Williamson Co. Bio Surname site and noted two people that caught my attention one is Edyte Rucker Whitley on Kith and Kin of OUr President Lyndon Baines Johnson::: This is off My Col Arthur Allen Lines which cross to RObert Johnson and Katherine Allen, my lines come off a Williamson married to Katherines aunt the daughter of Col. Arthur Allen and Alice Tucker of Bacons Castle, Surry Co. Va I was wondering if this lady is still involved with Family Histories of Williamson Co. Tn. THen I came accross this bio on Lewis Johnson and related families Edwards, Morton and Lawrence compiled by Marie Little Ehresman 1991::: I was also wondering if she is still involved with the Williamson Co. WEb site on line. Reason my HUdson Johnson DNA tests cross all of these SURNAMEs she menitons, as they are connected to off spring of Michael Johnson and Sarah Watson. Michael died 1718 on Tuckahoe Creek in henrioc Co. Va. Note a Lewis Johnson lived in Henry CO that became Patrick Co. same area my Hudson Johnson left in 1783.Also one of his Grandsons is named Lewis, and my Hudson Johnson was in what was Williamson CO. from 1801-1803. Allen Johnson came from Meckelmburg County, Virginia . His dates are 1765-1835. His wife was Mary Hutcheson, 1768-1836. she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Chiles Hutcheson. They first came into Rutherford co, TN and then Williamson Co. Allen and Mary or as she was called Polly's daughter, Elizabeth Chiles, married Thomas Durham. Thomas and Elizabeth lived and died in Dekalb Co, TN. I am part of the Durham line. There is a picture of Allen Johnson's home in Historic Williamson County by Virginia Bowman. I have some information on Mary's family, but am looking for Allen's family.
