    2. Donna I just noticed that myself, and I think that either Samuel was Dr. John's Dad,or Zacharias was,it will require a bit more reseach,I've seen speculation on both now. And I've sen a couple of queries on White, in the website but mostly looking for tie-ins and dates, and the like. Chuck

    3. Donna and Chuck I am also a descendant of Granny White. I have info on the Whites back to the ealy 1600s in the Isle of Wight, VA. Does anyone have info where they were before that? The question about Dr John being the son of Zachariah and Granny White - They had a son John. Edythe Whitley Collection at the WIllisamson Co Library says John lived in the Harpeth Hills on the Harpeth River where he established a mill and married about 1789-90. You may already have this info - Is this the right time frame of your John? Most of the info I have on the Whites came from this library - It is a wonderful place. I can email or mail the information I have on the Whites and would love to see what info ya'll have collected. I am also researching Melville Wilkinson son of William Wilkinson of Williamson Co. Melville married Eveline White, g granddaughter of Granny White. Chuck, Thank you so much for shareing your memories of Granny White's Inn. Unfortunately when I visitied the area the Inn was gone. So sad that those treasures were not perserved. Do you know if the graves of her grandchildren buried up the hill have been kept up? Thanks again, Ruth Lyle CharlMcDowe@aol.com wrote: Donna I just noticed that myself, and I think that either Samuel was Dr. John's Dad,or Zacharias was,it will require a bit more reseach,I've seen speculation on both now.
