I am a descendant of White's from Williamson Co Zachariah White and Lucy (Lucinda) Wilson (Granny WHite)came from NC. Zachariah was killed at Fort Nashboro in 1781 and Granny White had a inn on what is now Granny White Pike. I descended from their son Benjamine and Avaiah Dean who lived in Willismason Co. They had a daughter Elizabeth and a son Cary whom I descended from. Cary married Nancy Schultz (Shule) and they moved to TX in 1834. I've looked at the Maury County McCrackens over the years because at least one branch moved from Maury to Yalobusha Co., MS in the 1830s and that seemed to match my John L. McCracken bn 1839 MS but whose parents and siblings were all born TN. Unfortunately for me, the descendents of this particular branch don't appear have a missing male McCracken of the appropriate age group. I'm trying to arrange for some of this line to have the Y-DNA test for my McCracken Y-DNA Project to see if they match my McCracken Uncle but don't have any leads at all for any descendents of the Williamson County McCrackens. -- Pat Oliver (Willis P.
