Greetings, I am working on the Hendley STONE family of Williamson Co TN. I trying to tie my ancestor Margaret Peggy STONE to this family. Margaret was born 27 March 1789 in SC, married James Job 14 Oct. 1814 Davidson Co TN (just north of Williamson Co) and died 8 Oct.1867 in Cole Co MO. At first I thought the William STONE that was in the Williamson Co TN area was her father, but after trying to find her parents to fill some empty blanks in my file, I do not think that now. I know that Hendley was married 3 times and had several children, but I do not have a complete listing of all children. 1. Jane Hungerford Harrison 2. Elizabeth Perkins 3. Mary Jenkins Children of Hendley and his 3 wives were. William Harrison, Agnes P. Barton B., Nichols, Mary W., John Henley, Virginia M, Jane S,, Elizabeth H. and Barton Warren. Now my question is, is my Margaret Peggy STONE JOBE yet another child of Hendleys or is she a neice, or grandaugher? Margaret and James had a son named William Stone JOBE, so there must be a connection here somewhere. Any help will be greatly appreciated in helping me make a connection between my Margaret and this family.
