Well, Cool...Vernon, that's absolutely great ! You just can't beat those folks,I am glad you came away with some Family History, doesn't it feel good to get somewhere in your family's research? Who knows, we may run into each other at the Williamson Co. Archives some- time,or maybe at the Tennessee State Archives downtown. I firmly believe that that little Williamson Co. Archive is by far one of the best ones I've been to,we are truely lucky to have such a good system to do research in....but there is a lot more work to do at these Archives,(and Libraries),we should all volunteer to do transcription and records organiz- ation,Copying, and Binding, they could use our help. Good luck Vernon! Chuck
I can also give them 5 stars ***** My experience there was much more than I even hoped for! A Mr. Spencer helped us and he could not have done more!! I, too, came away with my great grandparents marriage liscense, my gg grandfather's will and the papers that showed the settlement of his estate and much more! When I went in, all I knew was that my ggrandparents had married in Williamson County. They surely opened up "my roadblock"! Thanks, Williamson County Archives!
