I am sorry that was a typo - it is Chowan Co. His will is recorded there in 1771 according to Edyth Whitley. I have not gotten a copy of it. thanks for catching that. DONNA JUST ABOUT ALL MIDDLE TN. COUNTIES HAVE WHITE'S IN THEM,AIN'T THAT A GROOVE?

I am looking for information on My great, great grandfather, Allison W. Horton. He was born in TN and was a preacher and farmer in the 1850 or 1860 census. His son, Phillip, is my great grandfather who was living with Allison in the 1870 census. I am looking for Allison's parents. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Deborah Horton Rowan
