    3. I'm emailing a request to the 'experts' on Williamson Co., Tn, who would be the ones who would know where to go for that information...I'm just a requester who knows apparently as much as Sue, who lives in Alabama; does anyone in Williamson Co., TN, know something about a 1800 and 1810 Williamson Co., TN census so I can see if the Ramsey family's household were listed? Where would a person go for this information? May I please have a referral, please. 2. Rhonda Houston
    3. I'm looking for Stephen Ramsey. I have found his family within the Williamson Co., TN, 1820 census, but would like to see what the two earlier census 1800 and 1810 produced. Is there a possibility that someone could find out how many individuals resided within this Ramsey household and what the age span was within it within these earlier census...?? His wife, Lucy Warmack (or as the marriage Guilford, North Carolina, marriage bond clerk wrote it: Wamuck, Lucy, married on 02 Jan 1799) doesn't appear to be alive in 1820, and I would like very much, to know how many individuals actually show and made up the Ramsey family ten and twenty years earlier. 3. deGraffenried Cemeteries, There are two, One in Dist. 9 the other in Dist 5. Both on Glass Lane. The Dist 5 one is a mile west of Franklin. The other just more west. But if the people you ask for are buried there the markers are unreadable. The one in Dist. 5 has Metcalf and Nathaniel B deGraffenried. The One in Dist. 9 has Benjamin R. deGraffenried. The one in Dist 9 also states there were some large boxes and slabs that were not readable. >From: CAROL DEGRAFFENRIED <cl5639@prodigy.net> >Reply-To: TNWILLIA-L@rootsweb.com >To: TNWILLIA-L@rootsweb.com >Subject: [TNWILLIA] Cemetery location >Date: Mon, 13 Sep 2004 06:50:42 -0700 (PDT) > >Dear List, > >I am looking for the burial location for my husband's great & great great >grandfathers. >They both died in Franklin, Williamson County. 1. New to the list!
    2. Rhonda Houston
    3. I have just recently been able to begin researching the individuals with the names Stephen Ramsay (found in Franklin township in 1820), and Eliajh Hamilton (who I am still searching for his whereabouts ) I am seeking more information about both of these men who came from North Carolina, and were amongst those early settlers of Williamson Co., TN. Both these were tied to my Great, Great, Greatgrandfather, William Warmack, who chose to live in Davidson Co., TN...and passed away in 1838, because they married two of his sisters. His sister, Mary Warmack (Warnock), who married Elijah Hamilton on 8/14/1786, in Guilford, NC, and Stephen Ramsay married Lucy Warmack (Wamuck) on 02 Jan 1799. I have heard that there is some information concerning some documentation on the Hamiltons that Mary's surname of Warnock was used within one of their children's names which may very well assist me with my search, although I wish it would have been Warmack, instead of Warnock accompanying the Hamilton surname. Each lady's surname was modified to Warnock and Wamuck, respectfully. The Guilford NC public marriage bond clerks spelled both ladies names the way they heard them, not the way they were spelled...for the reason I know none of these individuals could read or write and often times mistakes took place anyway...My Great, Great, Greatgrandfather signed his last will and testment with an "X" as his mark, so I have to assume the same about his sisters. Sorry about the lengthy explanation, but I needed to pave the way in this initial email for what it is that I am truly looking for. 1)Could some knowledgeable individual suggest where I should begin looking for these individuals? I know Stephen Ramsay can be found in 1820, living in Franklin ?township? Where would I go to find Elijah Hamilton, who I also found in 1820, who was the son of David Hamilton, who I also found in this 1820 census at the age of 60 yrs. 2)What townships existed very early in Williamson Co., TN? 3)And what were the existing counties at that time, that were directly around Williamson Co at the time of its conception? 1. Land platting software
    2. I need a favor from someone familiar with or who has land platting software. I need to input dimensions found in an old deed and get a lot size for an overlay on a current map. I know it can be done but I am not well versed with the process. Will be glad to trade favors - I'll do lookups here in Tennessee. Thanks! Colleen Taylor Lebanon, TN
