I am also interested in the Boston Church of Christ in Williamson County. Does anyone know anything about it....i.e its history, members, location etc etc. I am researching the WALL, WALLS, and LINGO families of the Bending Chestnut, Boston, and Thompson Station area of Williamson County for those who are new on the list. There are still quite a few WALL and WALLS in the area...anyone know them??? Tina [email protected] wrote: > Hi all, > I'm looking for the church in which one H. (Henry?) B. Hi, Lorien, Unfortunately, I can't help with the churches, but I'm related to the Barnes in Williamson County, TN. According to family records the earliest Barnes I have is Joseph B. Barnes (born 1801, parents unknown) married to Katherine P. Kelly (born 1807, daughter of William Kelly & Nancy S. Penn). Joseph B. Barnes & Katherine P. Kelly married in 1824 and it is said they moved from Virginia to Williamson County, TN. They had eight children of which their names are: Martha Ann (b. 1826); John Henry (b. 1830); Mary Jane (b. 1832); Nancy Katherine (b. 1835); Lucy Ann (b. 1838); Mary Frances "Sally" (b. 1841); James William (b. 1843); and David Alexander (b. 1846). Do you have any connection to this family? Sincerely, Deborah
Hi Deborah, Unfortunately, I don't see any of the names you mention in my files. Barnes is not my primary focus and I have not gathered that much information on that line. Have you been in touch with Sandy Barnes? She may be able to help you. I'm copying her on this email as I do not know if she subscribes to this list or not. Best of success in your research! Hi all, I'm looking for the church in which one H. (Henry?) B. North may have been one of the clergymen. I find Rev. North in the 1850 Williamson Co. census in the Fifth Civil District, household 533 on page 166. Can anyone tell me what churches were in this area at this time? What I'm after is the church records for that church. So once I identify his church, I'll then want to know where I might obtain access to those records. For background, Rev. North officiated at the marriage of John Christley and Frances Barnes. I am researching Christley but also have info on Barnes if anyone is interested. I have reason to believe the Christleys are somehow related to the Krisle/Krisel family of Robertson Co. TN; still working on this link. Am hoping the church records will help me identify John Christley's father who was supposedly of German ancestry. Thanks for the assistance! Lorien Gunsallus

This morning when I opened my email I had a message from HaHaHa (subject Snow White and 7 Dwarfs) and of course I deleted it. I wanted to let everyone know that it is going around this area. The way I received it is from someone who has my email address in their book, so I thought I would spread the word to all the people who have my e-mail address in their book. Thank you... Vicki Winston Michel The following is the info on the virus.... - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- A friend of mine received the HaHaHa mail 5 times. Not knowing any HaHaHa, she had always deleted it. She was happy she did as she then got this message from DiscoverNet, her ISP. Does anyone have "The Tennessee Civil War Veterans' Questionnaire" and would be willing to do a lookup for me? My great-grandfather was from Williamson County and was in the Civil War. His name was Thomas Jefferson Waller. Thanks in advance Judy Tyree Bean [email protected]
I need a complete name. Mary
Judy: I don't have the Questionaire Book, but I do have the Pension Application Book, and Thomas J. Waller is listed as applying for a pension, the application #10973. Mary

Lots of Craigs came from Augusta Co., VA. You can do a surname search through the famous Chalkley court references of Augusta at: http://www.rootsweb.com/~chalkley A method to get all references to your particular surname: 1. open a word processor document 2. minimize it to your lower tool bar 3. get on line with Chalkley 4. do a systematic search for your surname 5. every time you find a reference to your surname, highlight it, copy it to your computer's clipboard by going to Edit and click on Copy 6. click your word processor document back up on screen, place your cursor where you want the new info to go and go to Edit and click Paste 7. click Chalkley back up on screen 8. keep going like this through all of Chalkley When you finish you will have a document that contains every reference to your surname in all the 1800 pages of Chalkley. Well worth it. I did it for Young and got 61 pages. I was able to piece together several families from these references and furthered my research immensely. Sharon Young Jebavy <>< [email protected]
I am looking for vitals (birth, marriage, death), and parents of the following: John Wilson b.abt 1750 Mary Craig b.abt 1750 husband and wife Probably died in Williamson County, Tennessee. John Wilson married Mary Craig about 1775-1778. One of their children: Hugh Wilson is born Near Franklin, Williamson County, Tennessee. on 10 Mar 1780. (There are many Craig's and Wilson's in Williamson County at the time period.) (Their parents may have originated from the Carolina's or The Virginia's.) Hugh Wilson married Susan Skiles (shils) 10 FEB 1799, Blount or Greene County. Tennessee. (most of their 10 children settled in Ill, IA.) This family is also associated with the following counties: Blount, Greene, White, all of Tennessee. Schuyler, McDonough, and Hancock of Illinois. Lee County, Iowa. Any info concerning this family is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Cathleen Sheree Gudino Additional note; this is the end of the line ancestor for this lineage. All data from Wilson Bible Transcript in my possession.
With these Youngs its hard to tell right off if they connect or not. I am trying to round out my research. Your William is a bit too young to be the one I was looking for but he could be a brother to my Thomas Young, b. @ 1781. The common names in my line are Thomas, William, Nathaniel, Samuel, Robert, James, John, Robert and Hugh. I believe they came to the Williamson, Maury, Giles area from around Laurens Co., SC. Previous to that they were in Augusta Co., VA. Glad to know someone else out there is researching these Youngs. <G> Sharon ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, January 05, 2001 12:07 AM Subject: Re: [TNWILLIA] YOUNG > In a message dated 1/4/01 3:50:42 PM Pacific Standard Time, > [email protected] writes: > > << Is anyone researching the YOUNG surname? > Thomas, Nathaniel, William? > >> > Yes,Sharon, I am researching the YOUNG family.
