I'm tying to find a Sarah/Sally Savage who signed some affadavits in White County ca. 1853. I do not find her on the 1850 White County, census. I believe she is probably the widow of Kendall Savage. Kendall Savage served in the War of 1812 in a unit from Overton County. Kendall and Sarah are from Surry Co. NC. There are some guardian records for Kendall, so I beleive he died. a Sally Savage is listed in the 1820 White County census with 5 children; Sarah Savage is listed in the 1830 census.
