Bef 6 Jan 1862 in White Co, TN (per White Co, TN Will Book E, p. 417), m. 9 May 1839 in White Co, TN, to Julia Ann Wisdom (White Co Marriage Book 1838-1888 p. 5). Their six children were: William H. (Abt 1840), Thomas W. (Abt 1842), Sarah C. (Abt 1844), James N. (Abt 1846), Janette T. (Abt 1848), and Quinn M. (Abt 1852). Reuben's parents were Solomon Wilhite b. 5 Nov 1797 in Washington Co, TN, d. 16 Apr 1862 in White Co, TN (Gravestone, Wilhite Cherry Creek Cemetery, White Co, TN), m. abt 1816 in White (?) Co, TN to Jeanette Rebecca Jane Sliger, b. 7 Mar 1799 in Jonesboro, Washington Co, TN, d. 24 June 1862 in White Co, TN (Gravestone, Wilhite Cherry Creek Cemetery, White Co, TN). Solomon's parents were Reuben Willhite, b. 25 Nov 1768 in Culpeper, VA. d. 6 Dec 1869 in White Co, TN, m. 12 Mar 1794 in White Co, TN to Mary Yeager, b. 1778 in Culpeper Co, VA. d. 8 Apr 1870 in White Co, TN. They had 14 children: James, Solomon, John, Daniel, Reuben Elias, Benjamin, Adam, Jeremiah, William H., Jesse, Elias, Lucinda, Elizabeth, and Mary Ann. Reuben Willhite's parents were Conrad Reuben Wilhite and Elizabeth Broyles. Mary's parents were Solomon YEAGER, Sr., b. Sep 1759 in Culpeper Co, VA, d. 8 Nov 1853 in Sparta, White Co, TN., m. 1777 in Culpeper Co, VA to Elizabeth BROYLES, b. 15 May 1760 in Culpeper, VA, d. 1845 in Sparta, White Co., TN. The gravesites for Reuben and Mary, as well as Solomon and Jeanette and others are in that Wilhite Cherry Creek Cemetery. Saw them last September. You may need Willie Cunningham's permission to go to the cemetery (have to go thru his farm). He's a cousin, too. Didn't get to see the other two Wilhite Cemeteries in White Co.
