Is the Peter's CAVE on Little Indian Creek in Putnam County that was on the old Bartlett place the same as the Peter's Cave/Cove branch that feeds into the Falling Water River near Burgess Falls??? The Rebs took salt peter from there to make gunpowder during the Civil War. Is it still accessible? Not sure if Center Hill lake covered that up or not. Would greatly appreciate any info on this. I have a deed that shows William Rice owning property on that ridge in 1826.
