    3. New Clue! Any mention in Madison County about a George Rice who may or may not have lived in the same general vicinity as the BRYAN family prior to 1800? This is Daniel Boone's wife's family. Boone was from the Yadkin River valley in what was Rowan County, N.C. before the establishment of Madison County. Found out that a George Rice (widow's name Mary who appears in White county census records) died in White county, TN and John BRYAN, Robert G. Anderson and one of Robert's sons were helping to settle his estate. George's will is conveniently missing from the White County Minutes but it is indexed. Thankfully, a general overview of that will was found in the White County registrar's office today, and he seems to have left the bulk of his estate to daughter SALLY Rice. I'm wondering now if perhaps John Bryan, or one of the Andersons married her.
