Hi, I hate to tell you but the information in the marriage book is all there is on some of the first ones. But I think that is correct. The office will give you a certified statement of the marriage if that helps or that was what I saw them doing for people trying to get into the DAR. They got in I guess it worked. There are a few later 1800's with a bond still there but I want to say it is after the 1870's but it has been a long time since I looked at the bonds. They are not all there only a few.I would think it was Mrs. Delma Wallace, retired school teacher who did the look up when she could. I do not know if she is able to do those now or not. As for the staff to look up that information would be very expensive to the taxpayers. I believe all the court house material in the County Court Clerks office is on micro film or that was my understanding also. I wonder how many people on this list knows how to work the Court house records. It is very interesting but I usually find a lot of people do not learn to work or read the hand writing of the 1800's. I do remember the cost of having plastic over the first will book and having a new outside bound is several thousand of dollars each. Hillra
