HI, I have a copy of the Robinson/Robertson/Robeson/Robison pages of the Oldest Marriage Book in White County. On page 57 this is how it reads: ROBISON, John & Senora J. Wilhite-Aug. 11, 1856, by Richard Simpson, Esq.-p.54 I know this book was transcribed by someone else. I found this copy in the White County Library. I have been doing research at the White County Courthouse and I have seen the original book. It is very old. I will look again the next time I am there and confirm what is on this page with that of the original. Sorry to send it so small, but I wanted to type it just as it reads on the page.
