I retired a couple of years ago From the recorders Office. I know how Rude and Inconsiderate the Geneaologist can be Every one in these offices has a full time job and are busy all the time. When someone comes in they are doubly busy. Instead of being quiet and just searching they stand beside some one writing in the records and say very loud to who ever they are with. Oh look what i found and start reading aloud. needless to say The Genealogist arent making them selves Welcome. Then they want copies NOW of everything. The personel are lots nicer than they could be. Also most of The genealogical Societys are run by volunteers. that are swamped. So quit griping and be a little nicer and more Considerate. They are allowed to charge what they want for copies. Every where I have gone to do Research I try to do as I would have loked to be Treated.
